Large-scale Moscow's Strikes Disrupt Power Across Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced escalating attacks in recent weeks

During the night, Moscow's aerial assaults have resulted in power cuts in large parts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern districts were experienced blackouts and encountered interruptions to drinking water, per reports from municipal leaders.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a separate aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the country's south-east, according to regional authorities.

Moscow has increased attacks on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while the country's government has demanded "real steps" from international partners to exert influence on Moscow.

"What is required is not superficial actions but decisive action - from the United States, European nations and the G7 - in delivering protection systems and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a online statement.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, describing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were working to fix the damage.

A barrage of missiles damaged power facilities and apartment buildings in the capital.

Several of the people wounded in the assaults on the city have been transported for medical care, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Local officials said the urban area experienced significant strikes throughout the evening. A minor lost their life and three other people were wounded.

The assaults come after evenings of aerial attacks in the region, parts of which are occupied by Russian forces.

The whole nation is under warning for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are harder to detect.

Government officials told the media that Moscow was purposely seeking to demolish the country's energy grid, with strikes already impacting energy systems.

Officials stated utility staff and officials were preparing for more assaults.
